CLASSES/WORKSHOPS» GIRL SCOUT WORKSHOPS

Girl Scout workshops for the 2009-2010 season are held on the following dates:

  • Joseph...and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat - October 17 & 24
  • Holidays in Virginia - December 12
  • The Adventures of Tom Sawyer - March 13
  • Disney High School Musical 2 - July 31

Available Workshops:

  • BROWNIES: Let’s Pretend Try-It Award Workshop
  • JUNIORS: Theatre Badge Award Workshop
  • STUDIO B: The Play's the Thing Workshop

Workshop Schedule (on day of public performance):

  • Workshops 9:30am - 12:30pm
  • Break 12:30pm - 2:00pm (lunch is the responsibility of the Girl Scouts)
  • Backstage tour 2:00pm - 2:30pm
  • Show begins 3:00pm

Workshop price is $20 per scout member. Each workshop must have a minimum of 10 girl scouts registered and must be booked as a group. One complimentary ticket is given for the troupe leader. All other adults are $17 and other children outside of the scouts is $10. All of our prices include the scout workshop, a show ticket, a badge and a certificate.

All workshops are held at The Hurrah Players studio. Lunch is not covered by ticket prices and is the responsibility of the Girl Scouts. Troupes must be at the TCC Roper Performing Arts Center at 2pm for the backstage tour and the show begins at 3pm.

You do not need to have 10 girls total from your particular troupe for the workshop to take place. Other troupes can bring girls and combine to make a minimum of 10 girls.
