The Front Row

The Front Row program is designed for recurring gifts throughout the year. By providing regular support to The Hurrah Players, you are demonstrating your belief in our mission.

Your monthly contribution, in any amount, signifies that you appreciate our work and wish to be one of our most engaged and supportive donors year-round.

As a Front Row member, you will enjoy quarterly updates, invitations to exclusive VIP events, a free concession item at each show and early access to show tickets before they go on sale to the public.

Reach For The Stars Scholarship

Our Reach For The Stars Scholarship program is a year round campaign that allows 40% of our students to attend classes on a full or partial Scholarship. For 40 seasons we have never turned any student away due to inability to pay tuition. Your gift today will support arts education and family-friendly theater in your community.

Matching Gift Program

Many employers will match your donations and offer grants for volunteer hours. This means they may match the gifts employees and spouses make to The Hurrah Players. Your generous gift to The Hurrah Players may be matched one-to-one, doubled, or even tripled. Your volunteer hours may also provide grant money from your employer. Help us take advantage of your employer’s generosity!

Jerry Duck Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Jerry Duck Memorial Scholarship Fund is established in loving memory of Jerry Duck, who passed away on January 6, 2025. For over 25 years, Jerry played a pivotal role in supporting Hugh Copeland and The Hurrah Players, offering his unwavering dedication and support. Jerry not only managed the finances of Hurrah, but also devoted countless hours to ensuring that Hurrah provided enriching experiences for the families involved. From organizing cherished Thanksgiving NYC trips to capturing special moments behind the camera, Jerry’s contributions were felt in every corner of the organization.

His kindness, tireless spirit, and genuine commitment to Hurrah’s mission leave behind an enduring legacy. The Jerry Duck Memorial Scholarship Fund aims to honor Jerry’s profound impact by continuing to provide opportunities for the next generation of Hurrah Players. It is through this fund that Jerry’s legacy of support and generosity will live on, touching the lives of many in the Hurrah family.

Jerry will be dearly missed by all who knew him, and his absence will be felt deeply within the Hurrah community. We extend our heartfelt condolences to Hugh Copeland, their family, and friends as they navigate this difficult time. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Your support, kind words, and shared memories bring comfort and solace to those who are mourning the loss of this extraordinary individual.

Grateful Hurrah Players Highlight

Hurrah gave me a purpose and helped me discover my passion. I had such a sense of fulfillment at a young age because of The Hurrah Players and Hugh Copeland. It set the track for my career and life.

Grant Gustin The Flash

Hugh was a mentor to me and was able to show me at a young age I was different and an instrument that could tell stories and move people and touch people's hearts.

Adrienne Warren Tony Award Winner for her role as Tina Turner on Broadway

Through kindness, acceptance and love, Hurrah became a place most of us call home and people we call family. I can never replace the collection of incredible memories I have or the lessons I have learned. I believe anyone who joins will inevitably begin to feel this way and become part of our family.
